President & CEO

Susan joined the Juice It Up! team as the Vice President of Franchise Operations in 2019 and was named President & CEO in 2020. She comes to the brand with more than 25 years of leadership experience in Franchise Operations and Business Development, and was previously involved in the growth of company and franchise national brands across the country including Jamba, Chevys Fresh Mex, and Baja Fresh. As President & CEO, Susan and her team of Franchise Business Consultants are focused on providing support and guidance to our franchise owners. Helping the Juice It Up! owners build their business for long-term success and maximizing their return on their investment is Susan’s number one priority. Her favorite Juice It Up! menu item is the PB Cold Brew Mocha.

Natalie EaglinNatalie Eaglin
Vice President of Marketing

Natalie, who joined Juice It Up! in 2019, brings passion and a unique skill set to her role as the company’s Vice President of Marketing. Previously, Natalie was the Director of Marketing and Beverage for California Pizza Kitchen. With more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, she has a keen understanding of what it takes to connect with guests and to develop successful and engaging campaigns. Responsible for the development of all brand, national, and local store marketing, she is passionate about creating guest loyalty and showcasing what makes Juice It Up! the loved brand that it continues to be today. Her favorite menu item is the Vital Proteins® Blue Bowl.

Carlo Verdugo
Vice President of Operations & Business Development

Carlo joined the Juice It Up! team in 2020, and he brings over 15 years of experience in the Food Service and Health & Wellness industry as a leader with Jamba Juice, In-Shape Health Clubs and Jack in the Box. Carlo has held leadership roles in Franchise and Company Operations, Business Development and Retail. He is passionate about Franchising, People Development and Service Excellence.

Noah BurgessNoah Burgess
Research & Development Scientist

Noah, who joined Juice It Up! in 2012, oversees product development and product quality as our Research & Development Scientist. He uses his background in science to create the perfect balance of powerful nutritional properties and delicious flavors to meet the tastes and dietary needs of our broad, discerning customer base. He also plays a crucial role in product strategy, innovation, franchisee training and education, procurement, and operations support. Born and raised in Hawaii, Noah has always lived a healthy and active lifestyle, which inspires him to develop products for customers seeking better-for-you options to support the same lifestyle choices. His favorite Juice It Up! menu item (which he developed, of course!), is the Optimizer®.

Melissa AillsMelissa Aills
Vice President of Supply Chain

Melissa has been a part of Juice It Up! since 2003. As Vice President of Procurement, she ensures our franchisees get the best pricing on products by successfully negotiating and managing multiple supplier contracts and facilitating the relationships among our distribution partners. In addition, she oversees product research and development, making sure our customers consistently receive top-quality products at the best possible profit margin to the franchisee. Her favorite Juice It Up! menu item is the Ultimate Açaí Bowl®.

Jon Wede

Jon Wede
Director of Construction

Jon joined our team in 2016, and has a strong background in construction and engineering. He works closely with franchisees to assist and support the management and execution of construction projects, including new store builds and remodels. Jon’s ultimate goal is to facilitate a timely, high-quality, effective, and efficient store opening. His favorite Juice It Up! menu item is the Rejuvenator®.
